Announcements

Ice Cream Socials at Men’s Shelter (Tryon and Statesville Ave. locations): Many of our Shelter Pax have found housing or landed jobs and are no longer able to join us at Fortitude on Tuesdays.   The Shelter remains at capacity (350 beds), and it’s time to share F3 to a whole new group of Men.  We’re hosting an ice cream social this coming Monday 8/14 at 7PM at the Tryon location (1210 N. Tryon), and one the following Monday 8/21 at 7:30PM at Statesville Ave.  location.  We’d love to have your help serving ice cream and/or talking up F3 to Shelter Guests.  Email Pipeline at jordanabshire1@gmail.com for details.

Lunge Walk on Saturday (9/9) to support Good Soles, a non-profit started by Charlotteean Jeremy Coffey that purchases and donates steel-toed work boots to Men at the Men’s Shelter.   Lunge walk (or walk) 1 mile from Shelter to NoDa Brewery for celebration and Band and Brew.  Entry fee is a pair of work boots or equivalent cost ($25).   Email Pipeline at jordanabshire1@gmail.com for details.

Take-out by Tesla (translation not needed; see Acts 2:6-8)

NMM:

Great to have a couple Pax from Cary, in for the PGA.  Term Paper and Hermes.

Always enjoy spending time with the CORE group and love the AO.
Apologies for the extra 2 mins, while waiting for the 6.
Apologies to 6 for not leaving enough time to get back.
