And then there were two
The BackBlast:
Labor Day weeks can be a tough time for workouts as you never know who’s is going to be out of town. That theorem was borne out by the recent turnout of two for Attila on Friday morning. Faithful Scrooge showed up receive the Q’s beatdown backed by the music of The Beatles, England’s most famous export.
Here what we did: the two of us enjoyed a jaunt across Midtown park, 7’s up and down the stairs to the Greenway followed by a series of rock exercises under the Pearl Parkway bridge.
We continued down the greenway with stops at the ticket booth and fountain before turning east and crossing Kings at Baldwin. (#dangerous)
The fun continued up Baldwin with alternating lunge walk and runs between driveways till we turned at Ellison and moseyed back toward The Park Bank stairs. After a couple of climbs we finished things up on the neighboring deck.
Upon arriving back at the AO Scrooge found that his shovel flag had been “borrowed.” Hopefully, the borrower will put it to good use and fly it or bring it back to an AO of his choosing.
Big thanks go out to Scrooge for his area AO leadership. He is a good man.
