My knees hurt because everybody insists on running too much all the time. Including me. If you don’t cover 5 miles, there’s a lot of moaning and complaining. Do more than 5 push-ups and Cindy just stands around with diarrhea of the mouth.
Folks were ready for more of the same. Doobie assumed he was going to have to shuffle all the way to the Mothership. Instead we walked down to the basketball court with a load of cinder blocks and sandbags, thanks to an assist from Scrooge.
Among the festivities:
11s with weighted squat and diamonds.
3 man grinders with curls and squats and bear crawls.
Throw/catch a 35 pound sandbag.
Mary
Alternating offset merkins on the blocks.
Overhead press, triceps press, more weighted squats, LBCs.
Farmer’s carry with blocks, plus sprints.
A nice change-up, back to pounding the pavement again soon.
