The Thang:
We ran in a ring. Hampton to left on Oxford to left on Queens, R on Sherwood, L on Queens again (WIB flyby). To the greenway, north all the way to Pearl Parkway (Sharktank flyby). From there, the green thumbs went in one direction and the military guys in another. Reunite after some mary on Baxter to Queens again, R on Queens to L on Hermitage. Pusher was drawn to the home of Sunday Se7en so left turn on Ardsley for a Laurel Market visit. Then Cherokee towards home with a stop for backwards run up the hill x2. Left on Biltmore to Colville to launch. Fin.
NMM:
Metro headed for the hills with >3inches of rain expected today. The pax also headed for the hotbox (23 pax!) where they got wet anyway… one AO that didnt show out was SIB. Pusher was solo pax to post and used the 15minute launch differential to drive to Christ Church for no OYO… BigDick was in France, which is prolly dryer than CLT or Wales also… the Kings Rd greenway held up ok: only 1 part was flooded to the point of foot rot. Growruck24 wouldve been harder going upstream today… topiary (noun): the art or practice of clipping shrubs or trees into ornamental shapes. Egypt taught the green thumb class and led 3 pax to the oriental display near Sharktank… we also made sure everyone knew the origin story and naming of DIB aka Mr Gift… congrats to HE on 30 years of service. Job well done… that Hermitage hill is sucky. 4.8 miles total on the strava. no mercans this time.
