Kodak’s 1 year Anniversary Q

The BackBlast:

11 PAX braved the elements and the already-passed rain to join Kodak celebrating his 1 year anniversary in F3.

The Thang-

Mosey to Selwyn E parking lot and warm up with Side Straddle Hops/Imperial Walkers/Arm Circles/Mericans/LBC/Grapevine. Loud groans from the PAX for the LBCs on the wet ground, but getting wet was inevitable.

Mosey to the bridge on Michael Baker – partner up and run a suicide to each road w/ 10x Hand Slap ‘Mericans back at the bridge. Kodak saw the misery in GAAP’s eyes and let everyone stay at the top of the hill on the last lap rather than run back down. Kodak is getting soft in his old age.

Mosey to the Greenway . . . and it’s flooded! So we took a detour over the bridge and then down to the CORE circle. Lunges, LBC’s, Obliques, Heels to Heaven and Plank made everyone happy. It’s time to get ripped for swimsuit season!

Partner chase with 5x ‘Mericans to Hillside. Once at Hillside, the PAX help initiate 308 Hillside into the F3 family – Kodak just bought that house and stood on the porch while Orlando led the rest in a roudn of Monkey-humpers. Then Kodak smiled and yelled at everyone to get off his lawn.

Mosey back down Colony to the AG entrance circle. GAAP suddenly found his second wind to lead the group quickly past Arcadia, where Kodak had planned some evil (but time didn’t permit). 10x step ups (each leg) and a round of dips at the circle. Mosey down Colony and back to the rally point for COT!

Naked Man Moleskin:

Lots of good chatter in the PAX. Seems that they say they don’t like running but all agreed that running plan was better than the non-stop HIIT of the Rain Plan. Total run was about 4 miles, so not bad. Weather was perfect – cool but not cold and moist air. Ground was wet, but who cares?

Announcements and Prayers-

Many announcements – Community Mattes 5K in August: Sign up for a running team or a rucking team! Booty registration is live, but no one has formed an F3 team yet. Orlando informed us all of the up-coming golf tournament organized by Tantrum to raise money for mental health and suicide prevention – sounds like there are several groups that need a 4th. Guitar Hero shared a story of thanksgiving for his mother. Kodak led a short prayer and we were off to Caribou to well-deserved coffee.

Cheers all!
