An excellent set of four men exited Carmel Rd Park @ 0530 this morning for an exciting exercise experience. Drawing the final breaths of muggy summer before the cool plunge into fall.

The Thang:
* Mosey to middle school for 20 SSH, 18 imperial walkers, 16 low slow squats, 12 mountain climbers, 12 merkins, and 10 bird feeders.
* Mosey back up Camilla to church for blocks and Figure 8s.
* Partner up. P1 uphill with block for Mike Tysons, rifle carry, and overhead presses. P2 downhill for squats, bear crawl, and Apollo Onos. Flapjack.
* Repeat x3 with Mary (LBC+plank jacks, flutter+Peter Parker, American Hammer+Parker Peter for 20-15-10), protractor, step ups, and dips in between.
* Deposit blocks and back to launch.

NMM:
* Those counting reps in warmup above will notice a break in the pattern as Pothole politely pointed out to YHC. Engineering beats finance in math.
* Speaking of counting, local polyglot Egypt was fresh off a European soirée so helped us count in German (1-5) and then Spanish (8-9-10). Also Jungfraujoch highly recommended. Confirmed Chalet sightings.
* In case you were wondering, Boomer’s origin story ties to OU Sooners, not US generation born 1946-1964.
* Direction raised question about how to write the number 8. Two circles or single stroke? Today we also learned 7s with a line through them are more common for lefties.
* Church lighting timer set for approximately 0605. Noticeable improvement in the mood.
* No Tardy = no Turkish getups.
* Three pax have nests emptying. Good stories of scouting, trips out West and abroad, and back to school soon.
* All new attendees from last week so YHC got away with some repeats with modifications. A few pax understandably DR, let’s hope we didn’t scare the rest off.
