The BackBlast:

To avoid the wind and take advantage of the natural warmth of Mother Earth, YHC’s goal was to increase the connection of the Pax with our home planet. Mission accomplished! How do we know that we hit the mark (or in our case “hit the ground”)? YHC set a goal of calling exercises that would land our asses (not just any random body part) on the ground at least 100 times. Do I have your attention now!? Just to contrast this with how many times our pax brothers at other AOs make ass contact with the ground (full disclosure: this has not been verified, but I am pretty sure I’m right): 8@8 who happened to blaze by us this a.m. – 0 a/g/w; SpeedRuck – 0 a/g/w; Combine – 5 a/g/w; Fortress – 7 a/g/w; Sparta – 5 a/g/w. A/G/W=# Ass contacts to ground per workout. Today, at Attila, there were 7 witnesses to a number well above 100 a/g/w. At this point you are asking yourself, why do I waste my time reading this kind of crap. Or you may be having a full on conversation with yourself, which means you need help. No matter what your F3 brains are saying, YHC will tell you how we accomplished this certainly world record A/G/W.

The Thang:
Turkish Get-up x1
Smurf Jacks x10
Turkish Get-ups x2 (starting to get the idea; but honestly at this point, YHC thought we are not going to make 100+ a/g/w)
Bat Wings x5
Turkish Get-ups x3 (after this, we had 6 in the books, only 94 to go)

Mosey to greenway
Dips x10 (dang! YHC thought we would be low enough on wall to add 10 a/g, but instead they were just plain ol’ dips)
Mosey up greenway
Ass Dips x10 (yea, we found a lower wall; not up to 16)
Mosey up greenway to steps to Midtown Park
7s: Big boy sits at top; Jump squats at bottom (add 7 a/g; now at 23)
Mosey up greenway to benches near shelter
More dips; no a/g – need to pick it up! or actually put it down, so to speak.
Mosey down greenway to bridge
Crab walk bridge stopping for touchdowns 10x (now 33 a/g)
Turkish Get-ups x5
Bear crawl bridge stopping to flip over for touchdown 10x (43 a/g)
People’s Chair w/:
OH Press 10x then slide to ground for touchdown
Ali’s 10x then slide to ground for touchdown
Lalanne’s 10x then slide to ground for touchdown
Milkers 10x then slide to ground for touchdown (up to 47 a/g)
[forgot we stopped at empty fountain for sit-ups with legs on fountain edge (48 a/g)]
Mosey down greenway until YHC says halt for Turkish Get-up 5x (53 a/g)
Backward Mosey down greenway until YHC says halt for Turkish Get-up 5x (58 a/g)
Lunge walk down greenway until YHC says halt for hand release/roll over merkins 5x (63 a/g)
Lunge walk backwards down greenway until YHC says halt for hand release/roll over merkins 5x (68 a/g)
Skip down greenway until YHC says halt for Turkish Get-ups 5x (73 a/g)
Skip backwards down greenway until YHC says halt for Turkish Get-ups 5x (78 a/g)
[YHC call side skip next but very quickly called an audible. FYI – there is no good or safe way to side skip. Also, no surprise that none of the pax had any issue with YHC’s audible.]
Side lunge to the right until YHC says halt for Turkish Get-ups 5x (83 a/g)
Side lunge to the left until YHC says halt for Turkish Get-ups 5x (88 a/g)
Somehow we managed to mosey, lunge, skip, etc. back to some stairs which we climbed adding 5 more but dips after each set. (98 a/g).
Mosey to top of parking deck for Mary called by Pax, where in we topped 100 a/g. There really are not enough exercises where pax ass make ground contact. Turkish Get-ups have gone the way of wheelbarrows and partner-carries, so this was a none so subtle attempt at re-introducing them to Metro.

Announcements: None

Don’t let this scare you off from posting to Attila. Today’s thang was an anomaly. YHC guesses that in the last 12 months, Attila has been more in the 6 or 7 a/g/w range. Attila pax: see what I did there?
