14 showed up this morning at Latta. Unfortunately, only a couple came prepared for the weather. Sausage had the lead and only he knows how much the weather impacted his original planned workout.
What We Did –
– It was nice and dry as we headed down Park towards St Pats. It was pouring when we arrived at the St Pats lower lot.
– Quick SSHs as Sausage waited on the six and a late arriving MMOB.
– Once MMOB arrived – and what an arrival it was – we took off to the CMC Mega Deck for shelter from the rain
– Up to 6th Floor – the Fish Floor. Where we partnered up. Partner 1 did lap while partner 2 did an exercise. 5 rotations – Squats, lunges, merkins, WW2 sit ups and Bicycles.
– Up to top level, cross deck and back down stairs to bottom.
– Rain stopped so we hit the dead presidents. Zippered up with 15 merkins at each cross street.
– Dips and Bulgarian 1 legged squats at Hooka Bar.
– Back down hill, Up Romney to base of WaverLee. Just in time for rain to start again.
– 2 Trips up WaverLee with squats at bottom and Merkins at top.
– Mosey through Latta Park to Grinder.
Moleskin –
– A nice crowd arrived on a warm Saturday am. Sausage had the lead and was joined by – . We covered 4.25 wet miles.
– MMOB was a late arrival and went ass over teakettle as he rounded the corner towards St Pats. We all got to witness it because we were all waiting on him as the rain picked up. The man knows how to make an entrance.
– Thank god it was warm. We were soaked at the end of the workout.
– Good to see L10 and MLF back at Latta and welcome to Lynchpin.
– MLF vacationed at Chicago’s O’Hare Airport and wore a sweet ORD hat today.
– As we ran up the dead presidents, Skyline shared his memories from each of those presidents (credit to L10 on that one)
– USA vs Canada tomorrow. The USA won’t be able to rely on tariffs for this one.
– Rube is in Egypt, Boat Misser in India and XX in Argentina. World travelers.
– Next week, Khloe has the lead. For those concerned about keeping up – I heard he may stay close to Latta.
– I saw Scrooge posted last week’s backblast on website. It was tagged as a CORE workout – not Latta. Was that a shot at Lee?
