The BackBlast:
Those who post in Myers Park know that flat land is hard to come by. I guess that is why there aren’t many wheat and barley fields along Queens Road. Too hard to plow. Hilly land is also a detriment to runners, so the Q took it upon himself to find the flattest 3 and a half mile route he could. So here is the route. Nothing fancy, Sharon to Roswell and then a big loop on Sterling around the heart of Myers Park back to East/Queens and Radcliffe. Not sure where the ruckers went but I bet they had a rucking good time wherever they were.
Beautiful morning to be alive and well and running without sweating too much. Won’t be long before the hot days of summer will be replaced by those mid 20’s mornings so enjoy these mornings while you can.
By the way did you know that Florida is flattest state in the U.S. followed closely by Illinois and North Dakota. The high point in Florida is 345 feet above sea level, so I’m in Florida if you decide to climb the highest peak in every state.
