Surprises all around

With 4min to go, it’s me and TD. Two pickups pull in, one is Rugburn and 8 is in the tropics, so who is this mystery pax? Turns out to be Chocolate Box, visiting from Cotswold. He slept too late for Bastion and decided to shoot over to join our merry little band. About a third of the way through our hoe down, Beethoven and Kneebiter caught us just as we were about to do some Cocaine Beer Crawls in the Salvation Army parking lot – they’d arrived 2min late and we were gone, they decided to run to Marsh Rd and saw 4 runners (one with a glowing dick band – see it’s good for another reason) and ran after us. Back down Marsh to Park, etc, etc… 3.3 miles and bunch of hills. Lots of merkins, squats, LBC’s, planks… The Q heard mumbling about baseball, but as I can’t talk and run, because all I’ve got is going towards running (RAnGEr and SIB would say “Speed Walking), I can’t reiterate the conversations. It did surprise Choco, though, the running. More than he expected – said he could have just gone to Bastion if he was looking for that. I’ll accept the compliment. And I was able to hear that Choco and Tiger Dog had discovered that they were long, lost, nextdoor neighbors on E Worthington, but TD moved-out before CB moved-in (I’ll get you the street numbers, Cindy, so you can hit Stogie with that during a run if ever on that block). Good amount of sweat worked-up & some groans along the way. BroRuck 3 is this Saturday at OMB, 11:30. YHC took us out. Starbucks for coffee afterwards.
