The Meandering 12 Days of Xmas

The BackBlast:

9 showed up on this chilly Saturday morning before Christmas in hopes to burn off all the sweets eaten over the last week.
What We Did –
Glad Hander had the lead and continued the tradition of the 12 days of Christmas workout.
– GH put a bit of a spin on the usual version. We did not stay in 1 area, but instead toured much of the AO and stopped for each day where GH gave us a nice present.
– Day 1 – Burpees. We did these at top of St Pats Hill.
– Day 2 – Diamonds – done at top of WaverLee.
– Day 3 – Sumo Squats – Also at top of WaverLee after a full trip up.
– Day 4 – Wide Arms – We did the dead presidents and wide arms were done at first President’s Street.
– Day 5 – knee ups – next president’s street.
– Day 6 – Reverse Squats on East – both legs.
– Day 7 – Merkins – we crossed over East and headed down Scott and stopped at 1st cross street.
– Day 8 – Squats – We did these at same spot, but after we traveled down Kenilworth and hit next cross street and headed back.
– Day 9 – Ukrainian Twist – we did this somewhere in South Dil
– Day 10 – Dry Docks – corner of DIlworth West and Ideal.
– Day 11 – Monkey Humpers – in front of Skyline’s house
– Day 12 – Imperial Walkers – back at Grinder.

Moleskin –
– a rather chatty crowd of 9 included – Rube, MLF, Cream Cheese, Dos Equis, Khloe, Khardashian, Sauté/Pate, 40 Thieves and GH. We covered 4.1 miles.
– GH needs to work on his cadence. He tried doing some of the motions in cadence but he was all over the place and the pax struggled to stay in rhythm. So we bitched about it instead.
– He did keep us away from the sidewalk construction zones, though.
– Congrats to Updyke on Bama win last night. All the credit goes to Tassels. Once again, Tassels traveled to a game and the team he was supporting lost. It works every time. We might need to change his name to “Mush”
– A very quiet and slow Khardashian this am. Might have been a wicked hangover. Khloe checked in on him and noted that he needs to drink more water.
– Speaking of Khloe – he is the most fit in F3 Metro. So he has that going for him – which is nice.
– Dos Equis may have some competition on the cougar scene. We got to witness a middle aged women coming out of her house in PJ’s just to yell hello to Khloe.
– We did stop by Skyline’s house. No sign of him – he may have been out walking. Word on the street is that he up to 2 miles on his walks around Dilworth. Great news this holiday season.
– Good to see MLF this am. It’s been a while. Yale did not make the playoffs, but Ohio State is poised for a run.
– the 15 year F3 video will be released as soon as they work through some of the legal issues with the music. Latta is featured, but not as much as it should be. Somehow Oatmeal and Tassels made it in multiple times. Sheep had 1 quick spot and was disappointed he was not in it more.
– At coffee, Scrooge was bouncing off new a creative ideas for 2026 F3. The Latta group just stared at him in silence.
– Wishing Everyone a Merry Christmas. Sheep has next week’s lead. My guess is that we head Uptown.
