Dec 17 was the date of the annual Running of the Cans, a Splinter Group tradition dating back hundreds, tens even five years. Each Christmas season the runners and ruckers of Splinter transport canned goods to beautiful Hillside Ave and place them in the boxes set aside for donations. This year the canned food donations goes to Nourish Up, a wonderful non profit that ensures that folks requesting food get what they need. Running and rucking cans to donate reminds us that our calling during the Christmas season is to remember those in need and to do our part to help. It is a beautiful event that continues to grow. Hopefully next year we will fill Hillside with men of F3 bringing joy to others in the form of nourishment.
