The morning started with the Pledge of Allegiance in honor of Memorial Day. Then we paid tribute to 'Merica with the following warmup: -13 Merkins -13 Imperial Walkers -50 Side Straddle Hops (with a break halfway through)
I then took the PAX on a journey of a lifetime through the wonderful streets of Sedgefield where we created lasting memories. We took a mosey down Poindexter Dr stopping at the corner of Elmhurst Rd. We then began "Leg Day" by jogging up Elmhurst Rd and stopping at every driveway on the left to do 5 squats. Yes, every "f-in" driveway all the way to the new building on the corner of South Blvd and Marsh Rd.
We (I mean "I") decided to break in (not break-in) the new building to see if it was F3 beatdown worthy. We ran up the parking deck stopping at each level to do 5 burpees. Once at the top we took a "seat" (aka People's Chair) for a minute (or two or three...who the hell knows) to take in the beautiful Charlotte skyline. Then the Ab workouts began. Continuing with the 'Merica theme we did 13 reps of the following: -LBC's -Freddie Mercury's -Little Baby Knees aka LBK (named by MMOB) -Never Cross Dolly -JLo's -Hatching Butterflies -some other stuff We then mosey-ed to the bottom touching the wall at each level. But we were not done breaking in the newest Sedgefield establishment yet. We ran back up one level backwards. Then another level doing lunge walks/high knees. Afterwards we sprinted one level down and jogged to the bottom. At that time, we were met at the bottom by a guy that will remain nameless (because I didn't know his name), stating that we shouldn't be in there since it was still an activate construction. The quick witted FNG apologized and said we didn't see the sign. The nameless man responded with, there is no sign. Exactly...exactly.
Luckily our time there was over anyway (before the cops were called). We continued our extraordinary journey of the hood down Melbourne Court doing 1 Morning Wood at each driveway on the left. One house has 3 (count 'em), 3 driveways. At that point, there was a lot of mumblechatter regarding the time. It's like people were not having fun or something. Go figure. I heard it loud and clear. I ignored it...but I heard it loud and clear. After a minute or two, I looked at my watch and noticed that the end of the workout was drawing near. I wish somebody would have told me. I decided to push down our morning woods and head back to base. We made it just in time!
At that point we did the count-a-roma and name-o-rama where we re-named a Kotter/FNG. Welcome to F3 Nation (again) Pollenator. There a crap load of announcements/chatter and everyone was late to work. Then MMOB took us out.
