Bastion meets Hardcore

Flag was posted at 0513 and Pitino and YHC took off for an EC 1.5 mile stroll. Good time for the two us to talk about BRR and how glad we are that is behind us.

Back at the shovel flags for the 0530 start we found 19 more pax ready to roll. First up was COT with Newport’s 10 YO 2.0, Cold Cuts. His favorite exercise is the push up. That’s what we did.

We mosey led up the driveway in the parking lot and partnered up. We did 2 rounds around the parking lot with merkins and partner hand slap merkins.

Out of the St Gabe’s over to the hit box to give the gear heads some hell. It was our man Uncles bday so we had to cause chaos. A little meetup ensued. We moved their gear, joined them for partner carry’s and wheelbarrow work. Check the video out. Fun was had!

We ditched them at 0555 and headed back to the school lot. Did some more work…. Everyone is as impressed with Cold Cuts leading us back to the flags. Solid performance by him!

– Boondoggle is doing a great job at Bastion. Only 6 Q slots remain for the year and pax are strong.
– Brining your 2.0 at 0530 is cool. If you can get your kids up l, bring’em!
– Hardcore meetup was fun. We need more cross AO coordination to invigorate male community trash talk (read leadership)
– Shovel Flag is a thing in Metro. Bring them out!!
