Kind of like Lucky Charms –Magically Sh*ttilicous

The BackBlast:

I come from a long line of thinkers.   My uncle Budger came up with the initial prototype for the back up camera.  If it hadn’t been for the fact that he used a Polaroid Camera he might have really been on to something.  So in thinking up the idea for Diamond head I was able to rely on my genetic make up to come up with a simply splendid idea. But like all splendid ideas, the standards must be followed. So before we did anything else, we did the standard.

Then we moseyed less than 25 yards to the shitstorm planned for the day.  7 pain stations that involved pulling weight ( plates and kettle bells from 50 to 90 pounds) or carrying weight ( 2 slosh tubes, 2 35 pound forklift tires and 2 55 pound forklift tires).  Carry/pull the weight 1/2 way across the parking lot and back and then do a called KB exercise.  We made it through three rounds including 1 round where we pulled the weight backwards and intermission of Mary.

This took 45 minutes. Felt like 45 days.

NMM:  A handful of observations from today…Skoal Bandit is strong as a Rhino. Piggy is sneaky fast even with weight. Hoedown could not participate fully due to his back issues but he never bitched. Two Toes’ grandpa was appointed to a federal judgeship by Nixon ( seriously this is true) . Noonan goes really really hard then stops. Blue Toronado swears like an elderly Mormon lady.

 

I put chains on the forklift tires to make them easy to carry. They weren’t.

Slosh tubes suck. You keep trying to balance them and you can;t

If you can run pulling 70 pounds you are a bad ass.

Walking backwards with anyweight crushes your ham strings.

 

This shit was really hard–especially the round where we pulled the weight backwards.  I thought the rain was going to ruin this fun time but it didn’t interfere.  In case you are wondering, we would have done this in the rain. I had no alternate plan.

I invited several folks that have either not been to Diamondhead in a while or never been. Here were there responses.

 

Slaughter:  No thanks. I’d rather be hit in the face with a bag of dicks.

OBT: I’m out of town, but even if I was in town I wouldn’t come.

Dredd:  I stayed up late with Hillary staring at the SuperBloodEclipseGigantica moon.

Booty: My step brothers aunt’s neighbor’s mother in law was in town and I took her to waffle house for scattered smothered and Go Fuck Yourself. A double order.
