There are moments I will never forget. I can often times tell you exactly where I was when I got certain news. Like I was in the porta-john while my house was under construction when I got the news that the Dairy Queen on Central Avenue was closing. And I remember being on the lawn mower the first time I heard Neil Young’s Crazy Horse live Rust album. And I’ll never forget where I was on October 12th 2020 when Nibbler gave me an A+ for the workout.
It started off like any other work out with the standard. And maybe that’s why I got an A-Plus is because I have standards. Then shortly after the standards we went down to the basketball court and did a series of brand-spanking-new exercises. We did a clean and lunge, tricep bicep tricep, a deadlift upright row with a Twist, a World War II setup complete with a full extension, goblet step-ups, curtsy squats, a Bottoms Up press, a kneeling Halo and a plank drag. Then we did some two Bell deadlifts with partner.One partner running to the Gazebo and doing 10 pull-ups while the other partner did the deadlifts. Four rounds of that before we went back to our exercises to make sure that we learned them all properly. It was at the end of the workout in the c o t when normally I catch shit from Nibbler. And I was expecting because I did playRick Astley song . Rick Astley brings out the worst in Nibbler.
I don’t know why but he’s like Pavlov’s dog whenever he hears that British Ginger crooner. He literally punched and nun because Rick Astley came on while he was in the Stop & Shop in Sheboygan. But today when I asked him what he thought of the workout he gave me an A+. In front of everyone! I’m so stunned I think I might never Q again. Who am I kidding I think I’ve got two qs coming up back to back in 2 weeks.
