Make a Real IMPACT at MIP

The BackBlast:

What we Did:

Warmup, COP, collect the PAX, hit the Tunnel & Stadium for some WORK.  Run Back with Pain Stations.  Shared our struggles in COT.

What We REALLY Did:

Yesterday I was hanging out at the neighborhood pool and ran into a guy (Mr B) that had spent some time at the front desk of the CLT Rescue Mission.  He saw my F3 Buff and asked if I had ever been to an MIP workout.  I told him that I had just been there the day before and that I really enjoyed the mission of the mission.

Charlotte Rescue Mission is transforming lives in the name of Jesus Christ by serving people impacted by addiction to equip them to thrive in the community.

I asked Mr B if he felt like we were making an impact.  While he was no longer at the CRM he loved the feedback that he would receive from the guys when they would get back from a Saturday Morning workout. It was filled with enthusiasm, stories of athletic conquests from the past, stories about what the future would hold, stories of hope and of a potential light at the end of the tunnel.  That is strong and that is what F3 is ALL ABOUT.  Invigorating Male Community Leadership.

We focus on the men, the men of the mission.  Just like us, we know that hard work is hard work, there are no shortcuts, there are no excuses and there are no easy ways out.  You just have to get out there, at 5:30 or at 9:00 and bust your ass.  Thats it.  If you do that, you will get the benefits of confidence, physical strength, mental stamina and HOPE.  You will start a circular reference that will loop back upon itself and grow you into the MAN that HE created.

Thanks to Valdez, Beaver, Deer Tick and all the F3 Crew that keep pushing the acceleration out at the CRM.  They need you, we need you.
