The BackBlast:

10 pax figured it might become helpful to be able to run places, especially workouts close to their home.  Thank you pipeline hackers for scaring off pax from driving anywhere and posting local.  YHC planned to lead the pax back to some old stomping grounds in the village of Cotswold.  Anthony Circle seemed like a nice distance away to run some moderate hill intervals.  It was 3 or 4, but whatever it was, we could have done one more, but instead got back in time for some stretching and core work – old school like OBT designed it.

The Thang

Mosey over to Anthony Circle.  Run the horseshoe as Aquafresh termed it.  Mark your time and reverse course and try to beat your time back to the other end of the horseshoe.  Wait for the 6th, get a couple of 10 counts, and repeat 2 (or 3) more times.  Then mosey back to start, and do dips x10, bavarian leg squats x10 each leg, copperhead squats x10, grapevine stretch with gaap reach, pencil LBC x10 each leg, slow freddie mercury x10.

YHC was surprised by such a good turnout at this morning’s Junior SIB.  It made it much more interesting and there seemed to be good chatter on the way out and back and may be some on the horseshoe.

YHC managed to avoid much if any shoulder work, but then again SIBling is a running workout.
