The BackBlast:

Unlike the Big Ten and PAC-12, the men of F3 CORE understand the importance of persevering through challenging times. 13 men showed up at the Freedom Park Whittington Field parking lot this AM knowing they would experience pain and adversity but were willing to persevere in order to get better. Knowing the challenges ahead, these men could have stayed in bed and cowered under the covers but chose to take the Daily Red Pill and face the challenges head on. Here is what we did:

Warm Up: SSH x 20; Merkins x 10; IW x 15; MC x 15; CS x 15; Valdez shoulder stretch; Grapevine stretch

To the Rails-Outboards/Inboards 10-8-6-4-2

Mosey to bottom of hill for 10 merkins

Mosey to picnic shelter: Dips/Derkins/Step Ups 10-8-6-4-2

Mosey to bottom of hill for 10 merkins and 10 more merkins since Rev said the cadence of YHC was too quick the first time. Must practice to get better.

Mosey back to rails-10 inboards/10 outboards

Back to the parking lot where we did 14 reps of the following: KB curls; KB Louganis; KB Lunges; merkins; KB swings; KB two hand overhead press; Nolan Ryans; KB tricep curls; IW;  KB goblet squats; KB Lunges; KB Renegade Rows; KB Swings. After each exercise, the pax ran to the other end of the parking lot and back on YHC’s whistle

YHC chose 14 because Clemson will need to win 14 games to be the National Champion (11 regular season; ACC Championship; 2 College Football Playoff)

YHC with the Takeout

Today was the last of YHC’s 4 Qs during Birthday Week.

Celebrating the beginning of College Football Season was the theme this AM. Kudos to the ACC, SEC and Big 12 for their efforts to push through challenges and try to have a football season. Kudos to the men of CORE who pushed through adversity this AM.

Thank you to the men of CORE and F3 for encouraging YHC over the last two years.
