Had sixteen sturdy souls at the MIP workout this morning. Springtime weather made spirits high, with partly cloudy skies and balmy temps. Spring has sprung, men! Here is what went down:

START Stretch shoulders + Hamstring + ITB + belly >> SSH
Rocks (2X) Goblet Squat, Greg Louganis, Tricep Ext, Russian Twist, Ball Chinian, Double Protractor, Overhead Press
Tunnel (2X) Peoples Chair w Air Presses / Donkey Kicks
Court/

Deck

10X/2X countdown + run loop: Merkins / Plank Jacks / Merkins
Court/

Deck

Plank hip slaps / JumpSquats / bird dogs / Rosalitas / Dying Cockroach / Dollies / Rock Hoppers / slow-good-form-burpees
Field (optional) Bear Crawls + SLOW run Home
END Stretch shoulders + Hamstring + ITB + belly

As always, this workout is a team affair, and I thank Pigskin, Vega and others who pitched in to make sure we looked after our PAX and brought them home safely. We also slowed it down a bit to accommodate some of the new pax from the CRM. We have a few regulars (The Cup and Chipper) but we named three more FNGs today. Headcount at the CRM is about half of normal capacity due to Covid impacts, but this should recover back to regular numbers soon. We intend to bounce the MIP workout back to regular numbers too!

Come on out and join us. Saturdays at 9AM at the Charlotte Rescue Mission, 907 W 1st St, Charlotte, NC.

Questions: Valdez, or Beaver.
