Happy Feet Invitational Tournament –
Day – May 2nd
There will be a Captains Choice tournament. Teams will be selected a week prior to the tournament (similar to Crane Relay setup).
Teams will be 6v6. Games to be 25 minutes each.
Two Pools – Group A & B
Shooting for 8 teams (total of 48 players) / 4 teams in each group. 3 games played in the pool.
Round robin winner of group A to play 2nd place in group B (semifinal match). Round robin winner of group B to play 2nd place in group A (semifinal match). 4th game for the semifinal teams.
Final to be between the winner of the two semi final games. 5th game for the teams in the final.
Fields are already rented at Matthews Sportsplex for Sunday morning May 2 from 8 to noon.
Cost is $25 per person. Each player will receive a t-shirt and all additional proceeds are going to be donated to Matthews Mavericks. We are shooting for at least a $500 donation to the Mavs https://matthewsmavericks.com
